How I Painted My Furniture

I recently got terribly bored with my furniture in my studio space and decided to paint it. The furniture was bespokely made for the space using MDF so once primed properly, it can be painted with water based paints. I of course had to resand and prep the surface but it was all worth it in the end. As always, I designed the new paint work and did some samples of it.

I then brought back the furniture to white for a clean start and then built up the paint layers according to the design.

I was so pleased with the final finish although the base of those stripes took absolutely ages to complete! Here’s the final finish.
