Milan design week is a massive international event, bringing people from creative fields from across the world to one city. The main exhibition is held at Rho Fiera, called Salone del Mobile Milano; a huge space filled with the latest styles and trends in interiors. One would naturally cherry pick which suppliers they would like to see but even to walk amongst works that we didn’t intend to, can be an eye opener.
This company certainly stood out with their wares. They were contemporary in general style but their accents and quirks are bold in design; clean and clear cut. There is a masculine feel to some of the products and yet elegant in their execution.
In hall 1 of the exhibition, Boffi were near the entrance and we were immediately drawn to the stand. The unusual style of furniture really stood out. They are conversation pieces, designed to stand out in an interior and of course are fully functional, not just for show.
The finishes this company provides are exquisite. The team of experienced professionals in Italy hand craft pieces in their studio and install them on-site. The stall itself was very nicely set up at the exhibition. It had a natural flow which made it easier to see and appreciate each object on display with gusto.
Although this company does living room and dining room furniture, their children’s furniture provide the ultimate luxury for teenagers and babies. It was amazing how beautiful and quaint the objects were, with attention to the smallest details which finish off each piece in the interior.
